K, I can now rip DVDs.  I do not think that I will post how to do it publicly, because I suspect that many people would just use it to pirate DVDs.  Still, I can now rip DVDs, create near dvd quality files that are less than 1/5 the size of the original with the language and version of subtitles that I want.  The files can be sliced and diced.  I can store my dvd library on my hard drive too .
