I have been looking a lot at normalized tables recently and I think I have a much better understanding of the basic framework of them now. I still need to review a few more terms first before I start constructing one. I want to read up on FOREIGN ID, CASCADE, ON DELETE, ON UPDATE, and REFERENCES.
Normalized tables are used for what would otherwise be an elaborate table. They are seen in programs like forums, blogs, larger spreadsheets, attendance programs. Being able to create normalized tables a handy ability to have. JavaScript and Flash are the other abilities that would be handy to know, but that is certainly for another time.
