Ok, I have the javascript aspect taken care of. It appears that I have it set up so that there are 6 different files I have to update in addition to the MySQL database for every new custom .js HTML Tag I want to add.
Think of a tag as a button you click to automatically insert code into your text like an emoji or a quote box or highlight text, etc. I have an old, but working example here at the bottom of the page.
Would I rewrite the code differently after looking at it again with fresh eyes? I guess not. It's been complicating enough that I should probably heavily comment the code while I'm at it.
