- You can use as many terms as you like with the search feature. Terms typed in will be searched for regardless of order unless placed in double quotes as in the example: "I like 1980's Manga" the phrase will be counted as if it were a single term and the words will be searched in the exact order listed.
- If you want to ignore certain words then use a - before the term like this: anime -manga. All results that contain anime and do not contain manga will be returned. To ignore a specific phrase put a - before the quoted phrase like this: -"I like 1980's Manga"
Examples
- -memo searches for all entries that do not contain "memo".
- a -memo searches for all entries that contain "a", but do not contain the word "memo"
- a-memo will look for all entries that contain the word "a-memo".
- "a -memo" using quotes here will cause the search to look for all entries of the phrase a -memo
- -"I like 1980's Manga" will pull all entries that do not contain that phrase. By itself, this would pull nearly every record in the database.
- -"I like 1980's Manga" anime will pull all of the entries that contain the word anime while ignoring entries that contain the phrase I like 1980's Manga.
- I like 1980's Manga without quotes will search for articles that contain all four of those words regardless of order.
- memo Terms are searched regardless of placement, so memo will match memorize and memorial.
- Uncheck the categories that you do not want to be included in the search results. All categories are included and searched by default.
