After installing FF13 on my PC (Windows 7 64 bit SP 1) the game would not launch after the launcher.  To fix this I did the following:  Device Manager --> under Human Interface Devices disable anything that is HID. I suspect it is only of these that is causing the problem though.



What are the consequences of disabling HID-compliant devices?
