Summary: MySQL –– Using phpMyAdmin to backup your database

Completely rewritten with more current information and clearer explanations.  It is shorter and contains two options and two new example images.  

While there are other articles that better explain how to perform a backup of your database this article deals with users who do not have full admin access to phpMyAdmin.  This is not an article on how to bypass the security of phpMyAdmin, but how to work with the limited privileges you have been given; namely that you can't use phpMyAdmin to create or delete databases.

The article had not been updated in over two years!  It was in dire need of an update.
