I have spent a good part of the afternoon backing up my websites and database. I also rewrote the article on backing up the database. It is easier to read with more current information on the topic. The article had not been updated since August of 2010 and really needed an overhaul. A lot of time was spent testing out different things with phpMyAdmin to see what my limits were and that involved deleting and reinstalling my database or tables multiple times which takes time.
Now that that is taken care of I can get to work on the aging todo list.
