Recently I purchased 2 LED light bulbs. Both were listed as 800 lumens. One was "cool" in color and the other "warm". I was quite happy with these purchases and even more so now, so no buyer's remorse here. The bulbs were consistently cool to the touch and quite durable. I even dropped one of them twice with no problems.
I found a comparison chart here. I have heard that www.1000bulbs.com is good, but the prices seem a bit high to me. I have found good bulbs under $10 at the local grocery store.
