Opera Developer has a nice
new release today. This introduces the first new version of the sidebar. It does not do anything by default, but it does allow you to add extensions to it like
Browse++ which allows you to create and store notes, view tabs in the sidebar and view closed tabs.
It is hard to describe all of the changes with bookmarks and they are all for the better especially for power users like myself, but I'll try. The bookmarks page now additionally allows you to view:
- speed dials
- currently open tabs
- other speed dials
- shared bookmarks
Other improvements include:
- At the bottom of the bookmarks page there are two more buttons: one for viewing history and another for viewing open tabs.
- There is now an option to easily customize the look of your speed dial entries.
- Speed dial is now syncable .
- Keyboard shortcuts can be remapped.
