Much better. The layout for the main content has been mostly fixed. I'm almost fooled as to whether the demo page is actually the main page
.
Just a little bit more to do yet dealing with fonts and very minor layout issues, but I'm going to stop here and see if I can work on the banner image.
UPDATE: Fixed a font sizing issue on the middle column. Also added "5 most recently updated news items." to the right column. I missed that somehow.
