increased the line height for the site navigation links from 1.0 to 1.5. I like it much better now.
update: made a few more changes to the site navigation links. The most noticeable is that the entire span is click-able making the Site Navigation easier to use. That was an annoyance for me having to hover over the exact lettering of the link I wanted.
