I'm not sure what is going on with
Opera right now. It appears that after the restructuring with Opera to the Chromium engine many people who worked at Opera left and created the
vivaldi browser.

I notice that in April there were also a good number of
layoffs ref.
I plan on waiting to see how things turn out, but I do plan to keep vivaldi on my radar in case things go further south for Opera. I have a lot invested in Opera and like how it runs and the direction it is heading as a browser, but we don't always see everything that happens behind the scenes. I don't plan on making any big changes in browsers until things change more than they have; namely Opera going under and Vivaldi stabilizing. It is all too early to say.
Update 9/2/15: 10 other browsers:

epic privacy browser
Maxthon
midori
seamonkey
vivaldi
