removed several ini files related to the following:
allow_url_include -- deprecated
magic_quotes_gpc -- deprecated
register_globals -- deprecated
I notice that with my new hosting configuration GoDaddy allows me to try PHP version 7.3. It might be interesting to try. 7.4 was released a few weeks ago.
