A lot of people talk about how their world view has radically changed since Trump took office.  Many people call this being Red Pilled.  People that were lifelong Democrats feel like their eyes have been opened and are now independents or even Republicans.  Some lifelong Republicans, like myself, have also felt like their eyes have been opened and have abandoned the Republican party in favor of the MAGA party just like the WHIGs became the Republican party around 1856.

A smaller segment who were afflicted with TDS decided to abandon the establishment Republicans and join the Democrat party.  The Democrat party as a whole has decided to rocket towards moral freefall and just keep right on going leaving many old school Democrats to feel like the Republican party is now more in line with their beliefs.

This leads me to where we are today.  Now that many eyes have been opened, we now question institutions that we once trusted and have gone back to our Republican roots and even to the roots of our country's founders.  We are also far more welcoming to others with differing beliefs but also keep our eyes open to those who are wolves in sheep's clothing such as RINOs.
