Sorry about the lack of update yesterday.  It slipped my mind.

My goal is to take it easy for the rest of the day.  I should be proud with what I have accomplished this last week.  A week ago today I hadn't purchased a house, then on 8/22/25 I signed all of the necessary paperwork.  This past week I have updated most all of the lights in the house with brighter lightbulbs.  The fridge light was broken as well as the upstairs bathroom ceiling light and the porch light.  All of the lights in the basement were either dim or not working.

• Internet has been set up
  
• Gutters have all been extended away from the house.  I put in some fill dirt in one corner of the house.  I'm looking forward to some rain to see how well I did
  
• I bought some cooking supplies online and am waiting for them to arrive.  I want to start some cooking hobbies
  
• I've done some shredding and I am looking to get rid of some old stuff and make way for some new stuff
  
• Fixed a bedroom door that wouldn't close and sanded down another door that would stick so bad it made me not want to use that door anymore.
  
• Finished up the yardwork
  
• Fixed a cabinet handle
  
• Put up some blackout curtains.  I need to buy more
  
• Replaced some tubing on the heating/AC unit
  
• Changed my address

I need to do some cement work, get some better lighting in the kitchen, and do some work on the front steps.  Those are pretty important.  Everything else I can do later as a hobby.  Right now I really need to rest.  I go back to work tomorrow.
