Small update before I take a lunch break.  I replaced the two lights in the two extra bedrooms upstairs.  By doing just those two small light changes, it feels like my house has just expanded in size.  Both rooms are a lot more inviting whereas before, they were foreboding with a dim, bluish, off-putting, office-like feel.  Now they fee downright homey!

I fixed up a cabinet hinge in the kitchen and a handle that was missing a screw.  It appears that the wood is slightly warped which is why several of the cabinets don't close quite right.  At some point it might be a good idea to replace the cabinets.  Dunno.

I added some caulk to a small gap in the basement that was bothering me.  I really want the basement sealed up for Winter and that last bit of cement I placed vastly improved the efficiency and look of the basement.

Anyway, gonna get some lunch now.
