I took the old water heater out for bulky waste pickup tomorrow. We'll see if it gets picked up. There are a few good reasons why it might not get picked up and that is weather as we are expected to get a good deal of snow tomorrow.
I took apart an outlet in the kitchen and replaced the cover after tightening things up on the inside. It is now a much better fit and should eliminate the draft that was coming from that outlet. There are at least two other outlets that need to be addressed at some point, but at least one of them is fixed up now.
I also purchased some hinges and handles for the sound proof paneling in my bedroom. It occurred to me that with hinges and handles, the paneling would be more versatile easier to work with.
