Nearly one week ago was my 1st year anniversary of living in my very own house!  God has been gracious to me!!

As you can see from my Home Improvement list, I was able to accomplish a good deal in my first year while working full time and on my budget.  Several items were appliances like washer, dryer, lawnmower, weed eater, and a gas stove for heating the house.  Other items had to do with yard work such as having a tree removed, removing to big piles of branches, and working on the foundation.  Finally, there were the small tasks around the house such as getting a couch, repairing outlets, fixing doors and hinges, replacing a kitchen faucet, and changing all of the light bulbs.

As I start this second year at my new house, I want to continue work on the home improvement list and will probably create a new list for this new year.  A second list that I am using in conjunction with the first is here.  This year I hope to solidify my plans for the house to be seasonal.


As of this writing, I'm still working on those less tangible money issues, but soon I hope to give another report on what I am working on to improve the house.
