ok, the offending code was the hr tag itself. I didn't know that such a routine line could do that. I replaced the main page with the new CSS design since it is now display worthy. The main page will still need to be debugged a bit here and there, but we now have a new front page, which is a complete rewrite of what used to be there.
Next up is to redo all of the old reviews to improve the quality, and get rid of spoilers. I will be doing that in ernest starting either tomorrow or Sunday.
I am sooo glad this CSS thing is done though.
