I am currently working on a code rewrite for the mainpage.  In the past I have tried to get the mainpage to use the same CSS as the rest of the site uses, but have not been successful.  I feel like I am getting pretty close now.  Closer than I have been in the past anyway.  

This effort to merge the CSS files wasn't originally planned to be this involved and has come to include more steps than I originally anticipated.  Even though the overall look will not change I am pretty sure that I am going to update the site version to 4.0.0.  Since the site will be much more customizable I will probably be altering the look of the site a lot more often just for fun.

Update: I have the code the way I want.  I'll port over the new version soon.  The changes will make it easier to change the look of the main page.  I still need to add the following options to the to the config page:

• add text color done
  
• add memo blog and wordpress background colors done
  
• add CSS options for the daily bible quote. done
  
• add css to the config page. done
  
• add default data to the config page. done

Update: All of the old files have been replaced.  Now to do some light shopping and then put on the fine touches to the front page.

Update: Done for now.  I need to get some sleep before I take off tomorrow morning.  I'll be gone a few days visiting relatives.  This is a pretty good stopping point for working on the site anyway.  I want to add that I didn't exactly get rid of the extra css file for the main page.  It is still there, but much smaller than it was.  The front page is still relatively unique in code from the rest of the site.
