I just updated to Opera 10.50 beta snapshot 3263 from Opera 10.10 beta snapshot 1893.
- The first thing I notice is that the "find in page" search is nicer. The swotr.com page does not have a background image. It looks like Opera has made some significant progress on the Canvas test.
- Awesome! I can now easily delete typed in addresses. Why? Because I like to use the drop down menu for searches and to quickly find recent or favorite typed in addresses. Since it can quickly get a hundred typed in addresses or searches this can be very hard to manage without clearing it all out and starting over again pretty much every day. This is very handy for me.
- Find in page now works for viewing source. I no longer have to use "CTRL F" to find text in the source anymore.
- At first I thought the speed dial was blurrier compared to the version I was using, but after comparing the two I now see that snapshot 3263 is actually cleaner and has better image quality and not blurrier.
- On the bad side the mouse does freeze up a lot, but this is temporary and seems directly tied to flash, which does crash. I have not seen flash crash before.
- Enlarging text in feeds works correctly now as well as enlarging the picture size while fitting to width.
- There is also a built in Opera cache viewer.
