I have a very poor version of the pagination script that barely works. Here is my test version. I have a ways to go yet before it is working correctly.
I suspect it will be a while before it is working.
UPDATE: actually, I seem to be making some good progress. I need to get ready for work now though.
UPDATE: The demo version is down now that the working version is up.
