Added two more tips.

" --no-experiments" will disable flags.

Added a tip for updating and modifying the dimensions of a speed dial thumbnail image.

Update 8/19/15: added Slim Scroll Bar to the list of extensions.  Needs a small amount of css understanding to modify.

Resources on homosexuality

A list of what I consider useful links to resources on homosexuality whether it be links to books, select articles, the harms of same sex marriage, or notable people.

The page was sorted and revised for readability and to make it easier to find the resources needed.  A few outdated links were removed. edit

Texas Supreme Court rules same sex couple may divorce

Posted and updated a news post with a timeline with links to rulings.

This case has been pending appeal to the Texas Supreme Court for over two years and we have been awaiting a ruling nearly two years after that.  At issue is whether a trial court in that state where same sex marriages are not recognized may grant a divorce to a same sex couple who originally married in another state where same sex marriage is recognized. edit

Wow.  Over 10 years later and I actually remember the password for www.popcans.4t.com which was one of my very first attempts to create a website back in 5/17/05.  There's nothing there as I deleted everything when I moved over to this domain and hosting at godaddy.com, but the original domain is still there.

5/17/05 I created a xanga blog.

  1. The site is now mobile friendly.
  2. Added some css to the admin page for managing tags and linked the “number of times used” numbers to the tag itself.
  3. search feature updated to 5.8 to display two alternate dashes and the possessive single quote correctly in the search results.
  4. Removed the ID# that was listed before each news post result.

Making the site mobile friendly is actually a large change which prompted the move to 7.3. I still have some refinements I want to make to the layout, but these should mostly be quite minor in comparison. Upcoming changes include making the admin pages mobile friendly, refining the layout for a few content edit pages, continue to make the site more mobile friendly and to load faster.
