Free media player.To play music as songs go to music → files → Add music → then browse to your music folder and hit OK. The selected folder will now be present. Right click the folder and select Scan item to library. You will now have additional options available under the music tab on the main page. Songs, Artists, Albums, and Library. I use Songs to view my songs list.
