Recently, I received a notice from my hosting service that my site was in violation of their storage rules. This is actually a rather serious issue and the site almost went down. This is usually the result of a hack to my site, but I have good reason to believe that my site was not hacked. I'm still investigating the issue and have recently installed some additional security measures for the website.
One of the fun results of this investigation is that I am now in the lengthy process of debugging my website and cleaning up the code to prepare it for php version 8! I'm not sure when I will have all of the code ready, but I am now on the road to getting the site ready for the upgrade
