Prop.8 case delayed for another year

The prop. 8 case has hit a detour while the California Supreme Court decides whether prop.8 defenders have legal standing to defend prop.8 when those in office whose job it is to defend the law refuse to do so. The decision to hear the case was unanimous. Oral arguments are expected as early as September with a decision to be rendered within 90 days. ref
