Scott Walker became governor in January 2011 and will leave office in January 2019. During his time he helped to end collective bargaining for government employees ref as well as made Wisconsin the 25th Right-To-Work state.
He helped enact a Voter ID law to combat voter fraud. He expanded the school voucher program for families to give parents greater control over where they can send their children. Wisconsin became the 49th state to allow concealed carry.
