California Supreme Court hears anti-prop.8 challenges

On March 5 2009 the California Supreme Court heard 3 arguments challenging the constitutionality of their own constitutional amendment to limit marriage to one man and one woman

here to watch the 3 hour court hearing in it's entirety. If prop 8 were to be overturned by the courts the case could then be appealed to the district courts and then to the US Supreme Court. With President Obama looking to overturn DOMA the first chance he gets
ref, a state's constitutional amendment banning same sex marriages is the next best defense against same sex marriages.
The courts now have 90 days to issue a ruling.
