Texas Supreme Court Likely will hear same sex divorce case

Liberty Institute, the attorneys representing two Texas state representatives and opposing same sex divorce in Texas, are appealing to the Texas Supreme Court a
decision from Texas
third court of appeals to not allow the Texas Attorney General to intervene in a same sex divorce in Austin
ref. The Texas Supreme Court is likely to hear this case. They are also appealing the Fifth Court of Appeals decision that denied a male same sex divorce in Dallas.
The hope is that the Texas Supreme Court will resolve the conflicting decisions in these two courts of appeals and the problem of activist judges.
