Referendum 71 release of names on hold

The release of the Referendum 71 petitioner names has been put on hold pending a hearing by the Ninth Circuit.

Reject Referendum 71 was a voter initiative effort to repeal R–71, which recognized domestic partnerships as having the same recognition as heterosexual marriages. This issue was already before the U.S. Supreme Court which ruled that the names were to be released to the public.
