Greg Abbott Signs Three New Border Laws

This year, Texas, more than any other state, has been working tirelessly and made great strides to protect its southern border and the U.S. border in general from the absolutely massive (8 million so far under Biden video: see 3:08) influx of illegal immigrants.  On 12/18/23, Gov. Abbott signed three significant border related pieces of legislation:

This legislation is predicted to discourage illegal immigrants from even making the attempt to illegally enter the U.S.  It is anticipated that the new laws will be challenged in court, but it is also expected to be upheld.

Fifth Circuit Orders CBP Agents to Stop Cutting Razor Wire

Earlier this year videos could be seen of CBP agents cutting razor wire, that was previously installed under Gov. Greg Abbott, to help illegal immigrants get into the U.S. illegally.  On 10/24/23 Texas Sues Biden admin for cutting razor wire.  On 10/30/23 Chief judge Alia Moses for the U.S. Western District of Texas orders federal government to stop cutting through the razor wire and the next day allowed federal agents to cut razor wire while the case plays out in the courts.  After another appeal, the Fifth Circuit on 12/19/23 ruled that CBP agents MAY NOT cut Razor wire to let illegal immigrants into U.S.
