I was thinking this was not very significant, but upon further reflection I see that it is. New Jersey, New York, and Hawaii all tried to pass legislature to legalize same sex marriages for their states, but in all cases their own legislatures decided not to pass it. This is significant in that in the past almost every time it has come up there were enough votes to pass it, but this is the first indication that the momentum to legalize same sex marriage is turning. There are still some huge battles going on around the nation and world to legalize same sex marriage and make Christianity illegal. The greatest battles look like they will take place within a year or two with the greatest, prop 8, taking place right now.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law." Galations 5:22,23
